The Follies by Langfier

Promotional postcard showing the Follies, a pierrot troupe founded by H G Pelissier in 1895 taken by popular theatrical photographers Langfier of London. The troupe are pictured in a props basket "En Route For The New Royalty Theatre" for a return visit to the New Royalty Theatre, Dean Street, Shaftesbury Avenue in London on 3rd June 1907. They first appeared at the New Royalty from 19th March to 13th April 1907 and then 3rd June to 20th July 1907
