The Freedom of Suzanne by C Gordon-Lennox
The Freedom of Suzanne by Cosmo Gordon-Lennox. First produced at the Criterion Theatre in London on 15th November 1904. This image shows the lead character Charles Trevor holding one of his ex-wife's Suzanne's wet stockings. This reminds him of when her stockings got wet on their honeymoon, and, as a result, they resume their marriage. Produced by the great American theatrical producer Charles Frohman who died in the sinking of the RMS Lusitania in 1915
