Promotional postcard of a programme for Fun on the Bristol author unknown. First produced in Manchester, England on 15th May and Olympic Theatre on 7th August 1882. This programme describes the show as a "Musical Comedy-Oddity in Three Acts" An American show, it had by June 1882 been performed "over 1000 times in the principal cities of the United States, the Canada's, and British Columbia". Picturing "A Masher". (in fact an absconding young woman in disguise) because the piece was so popular in England
