For love of a temple courtesan, a poor man sells the golden toy coach which proves him to be a prince. Apart from the dance arrangements, the elephant, Rosie, got the best reviews. Artist: Hicks.This poster is based on the style of Indian miniatures. It is reproduced in Richard Jarman, "The London Coliseum, The Story of London's largest Theatre" (1981)
