Known as the Granville Theatre of Varieties it was built in 1898 Photograph of a colour-tinted postcard showing the facade of the Granville Theatre of Varieties, the building lies on a curved corner with a canopy over the main entrance. A small tower appears to the left of the canopy, with its own double-door entrance and first floor balcony. The name GRANVILLE appears in large tablature in front of two corner towers that protrude from the top of the building. Advertising signage is visible at street-level
