Promotional postcard for When Knights Were Bold by Charles Mar-lowe (Harriet Jay). First produced at the Theatre Royal, Nottingham, 17th September 1906 and Wyndham's Theatre, 21st September 1907. The central idea is that the romantic notions of Lady Rowena, whom Sir Guy wants to marry, lead him to dream he is back in the Middle Ages. In his dream Sir Guy chases Sir Brian. For the revival at the Kingsway Theatre, 17th November 1917
