So This Is London by Arthur Goodrich
Novelty promotional postcard for So This Is London by Arthur Goodrich (Hudson Thea-re, New York, 30th August 1922). First produced at the Prince of Wales Theatre, 11th April 1923. The play depicts an Anglo-American culture clash, in which a wealthy Anglophobic American shoe manufacturer arrives in London to discover his son is marrying the daughter of British aristocrats. Flyer touring to Theatre Royal, Nottingham, 17th March 1924. A wheel turns at the back so that, seen from the front, the two segmental spaces change. Here the space at the front says "This Is How Lord Worthing Pictures An American Family"
