The interest here is less in the plays than in the typical companies run by Mr and Mrs Will Casey - a husband and wife team which toured now forgotten plays to mainly now destroyed theatres. "A Wife's Devotion" by J. H. Darnley and G. M. Fenn was first produced at the Shakespeare, Theatre, Liverpool, 6th May 1889 and West London Theatre, 13th April 1896
