On the outskirts of Sherwood Forest, Prince John, centre, the Sheriff of Nottingham and their men, stare at an arrow which has just pinned to the tree a message threatening the Prince. It has been embedded in a notice announcing a reward for Robin's capture. Left, Will Scarlet is held captive
