For Wife and Kingdom by Ward Bailey. First produced at the Theatre Royal in Smethwick, on 8th March 1909 and moving to the Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith, on 29th March 1909. The postcard shows the hero, Captain Max Lubeck, and the villainous Camille von Nastolde escaping by sleigh. from the production as it toured to the Royal Palace Theatre in Richmond starting on Monday 18th July 1910
