Promotional postcard for Wildflower by Oscar Hammerstein and Otto Harbach; music Vincent Younmans and Herbert Stothart (Casino Theatre, New York, 7th February 1923). First produced in England at the Shaftesbury Theatre, 17th February 1926. A musical in three acts, the plot concerns a pretty Italian farm girl with a fiery temper who will inherit a fortune if she can keep her temper for six months. She manages to do it, and also gets the money as well as her sweetheart, Guido. This image is for the Shaftesbury Theatre. Artist: E. P. Kinsella
