Causey Arch coal wagon replica, County Durham
Replica of an early 18th century wooden coal wagon on display at the Causey Arch picnic area, near Stanley in County Durham. Causey Arch itself is the oldest surviving railway bridge in the world, opened in 1725. The Tanfield railway crossed here to transport coal to the River Tyne. The Tanfield Steam Railway still runs here, operated by enthusiasts
