McCaig's Tower, Oban, Argyll, Scotland
Internal view of part of McCaig's Tower, on a hill overlooking Oban in Argyll, on the west coast of Scotland. Built of Bonawe granite between 1897 and 1902, it was commissioned by a wealthy Victorian banker, John Stuart McCaig, as a lasting monument to his family. It is a circular structure, reminiscent of the Colosseum in Rome
