Ruins of Halesowen Abbey, West Midlands
Part of the ruins of Halesowen Abbey in the West Midlands (previously in Shropshire, then later in Worcestershire). The abbey was founded in 1215 by Premonstratensian canons under a grant from King John. In later years much of the fabric was removed for building material and used in the surrounding area
