Atriplex hortensis var. rubra (Red Mountain Spinach, Red Orach, Mountain Spinach, French Spinach) found growing in the garden at Little Court Farm West Ashling Sussex. 1. Male flower (x13), 2. Flowering stem with lower leaf, upper sides of leaves shiny underneath slightly mealy, 3. Female flower (x5), 4. Fruit showing seed in position (x3). B and H no 855, Dandy 156/6
