Myosotis sylvatica - wood forget-me-not or woodland forget-me-not. Found growing on a shady bank by a ditch and copse at Fishbourne water meadows. Plant first opbserved gowing 1956. 1. Calyx (x8), 2. Flower and calyx (x11), 3. Flowering stem, calyx, leaves and stem covered with stiff, and in some places, hooked hairs. 4. Lower leaves and root (calyx in particular has hooked hairs). 5. Lateral section of flower showing stamens and style which is as long as the column. Bentham and Hooker No 703, Dandy 400/7
