Samolus valerandi - common names include seaside brookweed, common brookweed, thin-leaf brookweed, water cabbage, and water rose. Enlargements: 1. Flower showing calyx and corolla (x4), 2. Flower showing one of the five lobes of the corolla with scales alternating with the stamens (x6), 3. Corolla showing short tube, five spreading lobes, small scale between each lobe alternating with the stamens (x6), 4.
