Lenin's mausoleum, Construction, Red Square
The Russian Communist revolutionary Vladimir Lenin died of a stroke on the 21st of January 1924. Due to the exceptional public support he received whilst alive it was deemed fitting to honour him in an exceptional manor, a grand wooden Mausoleum was therefore build on Red Square in the centre of Moscow, Russia
