Adelaide Cottage, Windsor

Adelaide Lodge, now known as Adelaide Cottage, originally built for Queen Adelaide in 1831. Situated in Home Park on the Queen's Windsor estate, the four-bedroom cottage was a grace and favour residence for many years, once being the home of Princess Margaret's paramour, Peter Townsend and his family. More recently the house became home to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their three children, allowing them greater proximity to the Queen at Windsor Castle, and the Duchess's parents in Bucklebury. They moved from Adelaide Cottage to Forest Lodge in Windsor Great Park in November 2025
