All-electric canteen, Belling Works, Enfield, Middlesex

The all-electric canteen at the Belling Works, Enfield, Middlesex, part of a factory building on a 10-acre site. The canteen had seating for 150 people, and all the cooking equipment used was made in the factory. Excellent meals were provided daily, with a two-course lunch costing only tenpence (two pennies less than a shilling)
