Bray Lodge, the impressive riverside home of Mrs Brown-Potter at fashionable Maidenhead in 1904. Cora Urquhart Brown-Potter was one of the first American society women to become a stage actress and she became a great success in London. Many members of the theatre profession bought homes along the River Thames in Buckinghamshire and Berkshire.
