Cartoon, Paul von Hindenburg (1847-1934), German Chief of Staff and Field Marshal, and Adolf Tortilowicz von Batocki-Friebe (1868-1944), Prussian politician. Batocki says that to achieve victory the Central Powers don't need field marshals, they need people to grow vegetables! (A pun on marechaux / maraichers.)
