Chinook family
Chinook tribe, showing a man and woman carrying their baby on the mothers back, a method of flattening the babies forehead was used, by binding the baby under pressure between boards known as a cradleboard, a process said to have been initiated when the infant was about 3 months old and continued until the child was about one year
