Convent From Within - Carmelite 1904

Inside a Carmelite covent, portrays the daily life of the nuns belonging to the ancient order, no one is allowed in the convent except a priest to administer the last sacraments at the hour of death. On the rights of the great feasts prayer are redoubled and certain of the nuns enact the scene of the Crucifixion, imitating the action of Christ by carrying a cross each one, perhaps, bearing for five minutes. (All the nuns wearing a white veil are novices)
