Cunard Liner Lusitania 1915
The Cunard liner Lusitania was torpedoed by German submarine off the south coast of Ireland on 7th May 1915, and sank within half an hour, of the 1, 906 persons on board, only 708 were saved. The ruthless destruction of non - combatents did much to bring the United States into World War One
