Curly, scout to General Custer
CURLY (or Curley), real name Ashishishe (c. 1856-1923), Crow scout in the US Army during the Sioux Wars. He is best known as General Custer's scout, and one of the few survivors on the US side at the Battle of Little Bighorn in 1876
