Detecting radiator bubbling - W H Robinson
When the internal combustion engine is about to blow up, the trained ear can detect sinister sounds which are emitted from under the bonnet. An ordinary medical stethoscope comes in very useful when the receiving end is placed in the radiator and the earpieces attached to the driver, magnifying any unusual bubblings and warning of any impending disaster
