Duke and Duchess of York's wedding day

The marriage of the Duke of York and Princess Victoria May of Teck, (later King George V and Queen Mary consort), on 6 July 1893, in the Chapel Royal of St. James's Palace, London, before a distinquished gathering of British and foreign Royalty. The bridegroom was in Naval uniform and the bride wore a white and silver brocade dress with a design of clustered roses, thristles and shamrocks, adorned with a trails of orange blossom flowers
