Edgar murders Aethelwald
While out hunting, King Edgar of England stabs and kills Aethelwald in revenge for the latter's deceit over Aelfthryth. Aethelwald, sent to find out more about Aelfthryth, had described her as plain, when she was the opposite, and married her. Upon discovering this, Edgar took his revenge, and subsequently married Aelfthryth
