Edward, Prince of Wales (later Edward VIII and then Duke of Windsor) the eldest son of George V, out with Quorn Hunt. Photograph of Prince of Wales on horseback in hunting attire, most holidays from public duties were spent at Melton Mowbray. Having one or tow minor accidents but on one occassion broke his collar-bone in the hunting field. In 1929 he decided to give up hunting and sold his stable of hunters
