Indian Elephant in London Zoo 1896
Jung Perchard the Indian elephant was presented to Albert Edward, Prince of Wales (Edward VII), during the shooting expeditions in Indian twenty years before in 1876. At the time he was a much smaller elephant, where he was shipped to London, spending the rest of his life in Regent's Park, London Zoo, giving thousands of youngsters long rides on his back, through Regent's Park
