Interrogation of Jean Chatel, would-be assassin of Henri IV
Jean Chatel gained access to King Henri IV's private chamber and attacked him with a knife. He was arrested immediately and executed for his crime. He was said to have been inspired by the Jesuits so they were consequently expelled from France
