John Michell - benefactor
John Michell (1661?-1739) - made a bequest to Queen's College, Oxford in gratitude for the shelter given by Queen's to his father and uncle during the Great Rebellion. His benefaction funded eight fellowships, four scholarships and £2, 000 towards the rebuilding of the college
