John Peckham, Archbishop of Canterbury
John (Johannis) Peckham (1230-1292), Archbishop of Canterbury from 1279 to 1292. He was a native of Sussex, educated at Lewes Priory, becoming a Friar Minor about 1250. Buried in the north transept, or the Martyrdom, of Canterbury Cathedral
