Major William Cadogan, killed in WW1

Major the Hon. William George Sydney Cadogan (1879-1914), fifth son of the Earl of Cadogan. In 1900 served as Hon. A.D.C. to King George, who was then Prince of Wales on his Indian tour, and in September 1912 was appointed Equerry to the Prince of Wales. He served with distinction during the Boer War and fell in action on 12 November 1914 while commanding the 10th (Prince of Wales's Own Royal) Hussars
