Miss Lina Cavalieri to M. Winthrop-Chanler
Regarding the marriage of the singer, Lina Cavalieri to M. Wintrhop-Chanler, a member of New York's prominent Astor family. The couple met during the 1909-1910 season when Cavalieri was singing with Oscar Hammerstein's Manhattan Opera Company. They married on Saturday 18th June 1910 but the marriage did not last long and Cavalieri returned to Europe shortly afterwards
