Ndate Yalla Mbodj or Ndateh Yalla Mbooj, (c.1810-1860 or 1814-1856) and her husband, Maaroso Tasse. Ndate Yalla Mbodj was the last great Lingeer (Queen) of Waalo, one of the four Wolof kingdoms of Senegambia located in what is now North-West Senegal. She is pictured in royal dress
