Orinoco collides with Kaiser Wilhelm der Grosse
In the roadstead of Cherbourg, the Royal Mail Steam Packet Company passenger ship Orinoco in collision with North German Lloyd's Kaiser Wilhelm der Grosse off Cherbourg, France. Three crewmen were killed, several more people injured. Excessive speed on the part of the German ship was ruled as the cause of the accident
