Paris fashions, dinner frocks, 1916
On the left, a dress of pink mauve tulle over white tulle embroidered in silver and pearls, trails of small roses. The corsage of pinkish taffetas are ornamented with pearls and roses. On the right, a gown of black tulle over pearl white satin fringed with silver. Black satin flounces edged wiht velvet. Two flounces edged with jet over teh skirt, corsage of flesh pink voile under a trellis of chenille of the same colour, bordered with paste jewels, rows of paste forming girdle
