Peter and John Healing the Lame Man, after a cartoon for a tapestry by Raphael, Italian renaissance artist. At the time the cartoon was in an exhibition at Hampton Court, West London. It shows the New Testament story when Saint Peter and Saint John saw a man begging at the Beautiful Gate in the Temple at Jerusalem. Instead of giving him money, they gave him the gift of being able to walk. It was their first miracle
