Portraits of Railway Jack (with his front left leg amputated) and his Surgeon, a Mr R. A. Stock. Railway Jack, owned by a station-master Mr F. G. Moore at Lewes, Sussex, was known far and wide as a traveller of the trains. He had been presented to royalty on several occasions and was awarded three fine collars and given a silver medal
