One day he was in a high state of delight because he had invented a mirror with this pecularity, that every good and pretty thing reflected in it shrank away to almost nothing. A mischievous demon dances with delight in front of the cruel, distorting mirror he has invented. The mirror is eventually dropped to earth and shatters into millions of pieces
