Temple Bar Removed 1878

The removal of Temple Bar, which, however picturesque, was a terrible obstacle to traffic : it was re-erected in Theobalds Park, near Waltham Cross where it was sadly neglected. Later in 2004 it will return to London and be rebuilt at Paternoster Square near to St. Paul's Cathedral
