Titanic Disaster - Eva and Esther Hart returning to England
An unknown woman, young Eva Hart (1905-1996) and her Mother Esther Hart (1863-1928) returning to England after the sinking of the RMS Titanic. The luxury British passenger liner, operated by the White Star Line, sank in the North Atlantic Ocean on 15 April 1912 after striking an iceberg during her maiden voyage from Southampton, UK, to New York City. The Harts (including Father Benjamin, lost in the disaster) were Second Class Passengers en route to a new life in Canada, seeking a better life and higher living standards.
