International Exhibition of Navigation, Commerce and Industry opened on 11 May 1886 by Queen Victoria, consisted of things from the British Empire and outside the United Kingdom including this tobogganing with sleighs on natural or artificial, was an old national pastime with the Russians and Canadians and was introduced into Eastern Europe at the beginning of the 19th century
