Washing L.C.C. Tramcars 1900
In the evening trams go back to the yard at ten o'clock and are still coming in at eleven, the stableman promptly takes the horses and cleaning can begin, the washers vigorously sweep the dirt and dead tickets from inside. Nearly five o'clock before the last tram is washed, but it is still not finished, the windows have to be cleaned and the brass work polished
