Wounded soldier from the Boer War been examined in a London hospital by means of X-ray. One of the interesting features of the Boer War was the demonstration of the practical utility of the X-rays. Discovered by Herr Rontgen in 1895. Enabling a surgeon to detect by the aid of the X-ray where the bullet is located
