Battle of Lewisham

The scene of the riots that occured when the National Front attempted to march from New Cross to Lewisham in southeast London. The marchers were met with counter-demonstrations and this led to violent clashes with police. Huge numbers of police officers can be seen in the street as well as a crowd of union flags held by National Front members
