Gordon McLennan, communist and political activist
Gordon McLennan (1924-2011), former leader of the Communist Party of Great Britain, its National Organiser 1966-1975 and its General Secretary 1976-1989. When the CPGB was dissolved in 1991 he joined the Communist Party of Scotland.
