Met Police stopwatch -- inside face
A Metropolitan Police issue stopwatch for the purpose of catching speeding motorists. This method worked on the principle of timing motorists over specific distances to estimate their speed. The same principle is still used today with modern speed enforcement equipment. The inside face shows that the watch is made by John Meader of London
